What's this all about then, eh?

imshouting exists for a couple of reasons:

  1. An experiment in just how quick a website can go from idea to 'live' (2 hours all in, if you're wondering...)
  2. Because I tend to do sites like this quite a lot
  3. Sometimes, you just need to shout at someone over the internet

If it's not making sense just yet, the best thing to do is have a quick go - you'll quickly see what we're trying to achieve here. There's not limit on the amount of messages you can set up, so feel free to run as many investigative tests as you want prior to actually getting down to the act of internet shouting.

There's various things I'm considering adding to the system, such as the ability to change the font, colour, make it blink, choose a sound that will also play etc, but it's a fine line between genius and cheese, so let's see how it pans out :)

It's officially in 'beta' because I've not had time to make all the refinements I want just yet, thus it may be a little buggy (I already know there's some stylesheet issues when using long words, for instance).
